REWIND....

Busch Gardens

So let's start with last Friday the 21st. Ryan and I BOTH had the day off. These days that's a rare occasion. We decided to go go Busch Gardens. We ended up only staying 2 hours. It was PACKED! There were so many people there that we could hardly move. But we did manage to get Brayden on a few of the kiddie rides. I of course the one who rode the two that we managed to get on.
This had to be the SLOWEST merry-go-round...

And then there was the Dino Egg ride....It was the LONGEST ride. We had to wait for each person to get on and then off. So Brayden was totally over it by the second go around, but we had to stay on it until it was our turn to get off!

And Then Along Comes Peter Cottontail...Hoppin' Down The Bunny Trail...

We didn't end up going to the big Easter Egg hunt downtown. It was too early and too far away. So we went to the local grocery store (cheesy, I know) and Brayden had his first Easter Bunny Experience. The picture explains it all. Our "Easter Bunny" was an elderly old lady who was in a wheelchair and on oxygen! I guess it wouldn't have been so bad if she would have stopped taking the rabbit head off. That totally freaked out the kids! The other Easter hunt got rained out.

Easter Day was different this year. Ryan had to work so he missed out on the small Easter Egg Hunt and the Easter Bunny Basket. Overall it was a nice quiet day.

We recently bought Brayden his FIRST BIKE!!! Let's just say,
that helmet has already saved him from taking a few spills on
the sidewalk. He hasn't figured out how to peddle yet, he just
props his feet up and I push him around the neighborhood.
He is definitely our little dare-devil!

I'm so excited, next weekend, I will be taking Brayden to not one, but two Easter Egg Hunts!! I've barely started on his basket, but he already has more things than he needs. So I need to get to moving, so I can have it done. Ryan will be working on Easter, so we will probably wake Brayden up super early so we can both be there when he opens it! I can't believe we will be celebrating Easter number 2 with him....I'll definently put up the pictures from Easter!

We took a weekend trip to Orlando at the end of February, Ryan's dad and his girlfriend Liz, were visiting Orlando so we decided to go to Sea World. Brayden loved watching all the animal shows. Brayden also experienced his first rides! He was a little nervous at first. But once the Merry-Go-Ride was over he wanted to get back on. We did get rained on during the middle of the day! But hey, we were at "Sea World" we were bound to get wet one way or another. I think we will visit Busch Gardens next (the joys of living in a tourist town!).
